Bread Naturally was initially set up in 2015 by Simon May - who Raheny natives will know well. The bakery is now owned and run by baker duo Niamh McHugh and Hayley Caprani. Niamh’s husband Adam is the other part-owner who helps out in the background.

Having both worked at the bakery as employees for a number of years, Niamh and Hayley shared a dream of one day owning their own independent bakery. This was realised when Simon shared his desire to pass on the bakery to the next generation of bakers.

The vision we have for the next chapter of the bakery is one which we are incredibly optimistic about. The support from Raheny, Clontarf, Malahide and beyond has been remarkable and oftentimes this has meant it’s been a struggle to cope with the demand!

To help with this, we are investing in a new premises which will allow us to make more of what we love to bake, and you all love to eat and share with friends & family. This new space will also allow us to expand our offering (did someone say coffee?) and continue to grow our small but mighty team of bakers and front of house.
